Lauper Films is a production company based in São Paulo since 1966, founded by Glauco Mirko Laurelli and Luiz Sérgio Person, that focuses in cinema and theater.
Lauper produced films with worldwide repercussion such as “São Paulo S.A”, “O Caso dos Irmãos Naves” (both brazilian indications to the Academy Awards), “Cassy Jones, o Magnífico Sedutor” (Best Director in Gramado), “A Moreninha”, the documentaries “Encanto” (Clermont-Ferrand, Festival del Nuevo Cine), “Curumins & Cunhantãs” (Berlinale, Visions Du Réel) and “Pantanal, a última fronteira” (Oberhausen), directed by Regina Jehá, and “Person” (Honorable Mention in Trieste), directed by Marina Person. In co-production with Mira Filmes, Lauper released the features “California” (Rotterdam and Tribeca), by Marina Person, and “Ballad of Return”, by Gustavo Moura.
Currently, Lauper Films works on the upcoming film "Frans Krajcberg: Manifesto", scheduled for 2019, and the project "Precious Tree", in development; both directed by Jehá.
